On June 29, I walked through the inner city - taking a look at what happens downtown. I found thousands of visitors and fans from Spain and also thousands of visitors from Germany. Especially the gruppo "Piritti" was a wonderful experience. A group in Eschenbachgasse comprised from Americans, Irish and Spanish friends.

In the Austrian Newspaper "Kurier" was reported, that 83,6 % of Austrians did NOT want the Germans to win the Eurocopa. This support might have helped the Spanish :-)).
Best wishes to the Europe fan and world traveller from the US !!!
Funny that we drank german "Löwenbräu" beer in Austria before the game.
